Nothing has been harder this year than going from traveling at least once a month to not traveling at all. Luckily road trips and day trips aren't canceled so I decided to list three easy day trips you can take that are about a 2-hour drive from Miami.
Florida Keys
The Florida Keys doesn't just have to be a place to go if you have a boat. A few weeks ago I took a day trip down to Sombrero Beach and Key Colony in Marathon. I definitely recommend leaving early in the morning if you plan on going on a Saturday or Sunday because the traffic gets a little heavy before reaching the 18-mile stretch that gets you into Key Largo. I know driving can get a little tiring but there are so many stops you can make along the way, here are my favorites.

Sombrero Beach
Palm Beach
When you're feeling bad and boujee Palm Beach is where you'll want to spend the day. There is luxury on every corner and cute cafes for the perfect IG pic. Unfortunately, the day I went it was pouring rain but I did have a list of what I wanted to do.

Naples
Another great quick trip is heading west to Naples and if you take Tamiami Trail you'll drive through the Native American Reservations where they offer airboat rides and other tours. Other than that the drive west is less than scenic, just swampland, and everglades. Once you reach Naples it's just a straight shot to the downtown area and the nicest beach in the residential area which is also open to the public.
